making Pancakes!

Pancake day used to be a day of great anticipation in my house when I was growing up! The mess the flipping, the races, the excuse to gorge on as much sugar, golden syrup, chocolate as you could keep down was just too much fun.  We decided to celebrate Pancake day a day early with friends - we did get messy and eat far to much sugar and the fire alarm went off more than once!

Here's what I used for the Batter;

2 pints of milk
16 oz of Flour
4 Eggs
2 pinches of salt

Toppings - Sugar, lemon, maple syrup, golden syrup, blueberries, nutella, soft cheese, ham
 (any old liquor from xmas)

(This makes a very large amount of batter) So you might want to half it, for little pancake eaters!

or you could just buy one of these if you happen to have $3,500;

Weigh out your flour - I don't worry to much about sifting!

Make a little well in the flour and crack in your four eggs

Slowly add your milk - Bring in the flour from the sides with your whisk and
whisk until you get a smooth frothy mix

Your supposed to let your batter rest for a while - But i'm always to inpatient

ugly but tasty pancake!

Get your flip on Jon!

Fill your pancakes with anything you love - we went for soft french cheese and nice ham for starters!

Maple Syrup and Blueberries for Pudding!

I am always cooking Pancakes when I am tired and can't be bothered to
cook!

Get your flip on and have a great Pancake Day!
