...listening to Of Monsters and Men

When we had our little boy we vowed to do our best to make him listen to our music rather than us listen to his kiddie tunes. Our son would love listening to the music we love because 'good' music can move anyone at any age. That was the theory anyway.
So far we have done pretty well. Some of his favourite tunes include 'Little Yellow Spider' by Devandra Banhart, 'Too Much Too Young' by The Specials and 'Santa Fe' by Beirut. Not bad for a two year old (although we did catch him singing 'Postman Pat' the other day!).
Lately we have been playing the debut album of 'Of Monsters and Men', 'My Head is an Animal'. It is great. I am one of those people who, when I am fond of an album, play it over and over again. The little guy has no objections though-he is a big fan of this song, which he calls 'Monster Song'. You can listen and watch the crazy video below.
